We have childcare for infants (1 year and older) and preschool, as well as classes for grades K-5 every Sunday. Our goal is to not only teach the Bible but make it fun so they want to come back. Our classes have times of interaction and we make the teachings applicable to everyday life.
GUEST INFORMATION
We are a community of people here to help each other know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference.
Our middle school program includes a class on Sundays and meetings during the week. This is an important time in their lives when decisions are made and patterns are set that may affect a lifetime. Our middle school staff spend time with the youth and seek to be involved with their lives.
We have an amazing youth and young adult program called Ascend that is led by a group of young adults with much experience and maturity. They have lived and they model what they teach. The program includes weekly meetings, small groups, retreats and opportunities for service and missions trips. This program is also active in reaching out to area high schools.
As adults we find ourselves in many different situations and seasons. Whether single, married, divorced, children at home or empty nesters we all have different needs and hopes for our lives. Our program for adults is based on our LifeGroups. These small groups meet in three semesters during the year and cover a variety of subjects and purposes.
Teams are a way to make a difference. We have teams for outreach, worship, welcome team, ushers, counselors, administration, management, production, visitation, tutoring, overseas trips, and more.
Our Sunday service is at 11am at Gaithersburg High School Auditorium.
We gather together to worship Jesus Christ and to express our gratitude to our Father God who loves us! Another goal is to encourage each other in our daily faith walk as we receive grace and power from the Holy Spirit to live lives that are pleasing to the Lord and that help others. If you want to read more about our vision and values, just follow the links under our About Us page on the menu at the top of the page.
Come as you are…
We love kids! We have classes during the Sunday services for children – infants up through 5th grade that begin at the start of the service. You can go directly to the Kids Building to have your kids checked-in. Our Middle School class begins after the time of worship, and the middle schoolers will be dismissed from the front and directed to their class.
At the end of the service there will be an invitation given for anyone who wants to receive personal ministry from one of our prayer ministers. Please feel free to participate then or you can call us at 301-251-3719 or email us at staff@kingofthenations.org
